LEM-AIR BV is a Belgian, family-owned company specialized in the inspection, maintenance, repair and
retrofit of cooling towers in Europe and the Middle-East. We provide total solutions to industrial
customers. To support the growth of our company, we are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Designer.

Responsibilities: 

As a designer, you take the lead in the structural & mechanical design of our industrial refurbishment projects, as well as new installations. The diversity of the tasks will offer you a varied job, autonomy, and increasing responsibility.

Among others, your responsibilities will be:

• Design the project from A to Z : from tender phase to installation on site.
• Create manufacturing and constructions drawings in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD® and Fusion360®.
• Select the best and most cost-effective materials. Create the overall bill of material.
• Request and compare quotations to respect the project budgets.
• Organize and follow-up the site erection activities to ensure continuity between design and
  realisation on site.
• Detect, anticipate and solve potential issues during all phases of the project.

Profile: 

• You have bachelor or master degree in mechanical or Structural Design and have a good
• industrial technical background
• You enjoy designing industrial projects, including the relation with sub-contractors and the
  follow-up on site
• You work methodically and accurately, paying attention to detail and meeting deadlines
• You can prioritize in how you organize and distribute your work
• You communicate easily and are customer-oriented
• You have a good command of MS Office and IT-tools in general
• You are French speaker with a good command of Dutch and English, or you are a Dutch speaker
  with a good command of French and English.
